From March 30 to 31, 2011 the Silicone Elastomers 2011 Conference will be held in Cologne, Germany

This conference will cover the whole range of silicone elastomer materials, including high temperature vulcanized (HTV), room temperature vulcanized (RTV) and liquid silicone rubber (LSR). The aim is to bring together manufacturers, processors, designers and researchers with a common interest in silicone elastomer materials, applications and processing, to inform them of current developments and provide networking opportunities. From Evonik Industries, Dr. Mario Scholz will give a lecture about "New & tailor-made precipitated silica grades for high performance silicone rubber", more precisely about SIPERNAT® Specialty Silica from Evonik which is widely known and used as reinforcing filler for silicone rubber. The lecture informs about newly developed and tailor-made SIPERNAT® grades which enlarge the product portfolio offered for the high end silicone rubber industry. These new products are suitable for HTV Silicone Rubber, Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) and 2-C Silicone Rubber (RTV-2C).
